1. About Numi

Numi is a personal finance tracking application that helps you record transactions, organize spending with tags, manage multiple wallets, and set up recurring activities. Numi is designed to run offline-first: your financial data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to, or stored on, any Numi server.

Numi is a personal organization tool. It is not a bank, a payment processor, a financial institution, or a registered financial advisor, and it does not provide financial, tax, investment, or legal advice.

2. Your Data Stays on Your Device

As of the current version of Numi:

• All wallets, tags, transactions, and recurring activity data you create are stored locally on your device using on-device storage.
• Numi does not currently require you to create an account, and does not transmit your financial data to any server operated by us or any third party.
• Because your data lives on your device, you are responsible for backing it up. Uninstalling the app, clearing app data, or losing/replacing your device may result in permanent loss of your data. We are not able to recover data stored only on your device.
• If Numi introduces optional cloud sync, backup, or account features in the future, those features will be covered by updated Terms and a Privacy Policy, and will be clearly presented to you before you opt in.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Numi only for lawful, personal purposes. You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where applicable law expressly permits it.
• Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its functionality, or interfere with other users' use of it.
• Use the App to store or process data you do not have the right to store or process.

4. No Financial Advice; No Warranty on Accuracy

Numi is a tool to help you track and organize information you enter yourself. We do not verify, audit, or guarantee the accuracy of any balances, calculations, or summaries the App produces, and any figures shown depend entirely on the data you provide.

Numi does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Any decisions you make based on information in the App are your own responsibility. You should consult a qualified professional for advice specific to your situation.

5. Availability and Changes to the App

We may update, modify, or discontinue features of Numi at any time, with or without notice. We aim to keep your locally stored data intact across updates, but we cannot guarantee compatibility in every case, particularly across major version changes.

6. Third-Party Platforms

If you downloaded Numi from an app store (such as the Apple App Store or Google Play Store), your use of the App is also subject to that platform's own terms of service and guidelines. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and a platform's terms, the platform's terms will govern your relationship with that platform, but these Terms continue to govern your relationship with us regarding the App itself.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Numi is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, Numi — including but not limited to data loss resulting from device failure, app uninstallation, or storage clearing.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, for example as new features (like cloud sync) are introduced. We will update the "Last updated" date above when changes are made. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
